For Pet Portraits:
* Make sure your pet is groomed, fed and relaxed before I arrive. This includes picking out any eye or nose boogers which generally don't photograph well
* If you have any colorful blankets or throws, have these available to use as a backdrop
* Gather up any toys, treats or attention grabbing devices and have them at the ready
*Keep distractions minimal. Small children, unless they are to be part of the shot, are usually not as helpful as they think they are
